Executive – Sales
Procurement Department Officer
Role Overview
Arkan Logistics is expanding its footprint to support this growth, we are seeking a Sales Professional (Assistant Manager /Executive – Sales) to drive business development across warehousing, transportation, and value-added logistics services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oman’s logistics market, experience in B2B sales, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers in sectors such as FMCG, retail, e-commerce, and consumer electronics.
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in warehousing, distribution, and 3PL services within Oman and GCC.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, industry contacts, and market intelligence.
- Prepare and present customized logistics proposals and solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to create competitive commercial offers.
- Track opportunities through the full sales cycle from lead to contract signing.
Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review service performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with operations to ensure smooth service delivery and problem resolution.
Market & Financial Performance
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify potential opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
- Support the development of marketing materials, case studies, and customer presentations.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the General Manager, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment on pricing, service capabilities, and margins.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM or reporting tools.
- Represent Arkan Logistics at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Five years of B2B sales experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding (minimum 2 years in Oman preferred).
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of logistics operations, rate structures, and customer pain points.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency will be an advantage.
- Valid Oman driving license.
- Prefer Omani national or candidates currently residing in Oman.
