Procurement Department Officer

Arkan Logistics is looking for an experienced Omani Head of Customs Clearance to lead, organize, and develop our growing customs clearance operations in Sohar.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and oversee day-to-day customs clearance operations.
* Manage, organize, and develop the customs clearance team.
* Coordinate with Oman Customs, ports, free zones, and relevant government authorities.
* Ensure timely clearance and full compliance with Oman Customs regulations and procedures.
* Establish and improve operational processes, systems, and workflows.
* Monitor team and operational performance and implement continuous improvements.
* Ensure effective coordination between the customs clearance department andother company departments.
* Undertake other logistics and operational responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

* Omani national – mandatory.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant customs clearance experience in Oman.
* Strong and proven experience in customs clearance operations.
* Proven experience in team management, leadership, and staff development.
* Strong ability to organize and manage operational processes.
* Excellent knowledge of Oman Customs regulations, procedures, and the Bayan system.
* Fluent in Arabic and English.
* Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solvingskills.
